    Default My New Toy

Santa arrived the other day with my new toy,
    1985, 750 Honda Shaddow,
She is in near mint condition and has 20,000 original kms on the clock. The guy I bought it off had put it in his shed 7 years ago and not touched it.
It has taken a fair bit of time to get her ridable again through his lack of storing it properly but over the next few weeks I will work my way through any of her problems.

    G'Day Wheelan,
Just needed new oil and filters, new seals in the carbies and changed the oil in the final drive.
Got a new front tyre on order but she runs like a beaut.
The rego is the killer over here $600+ but ma=ost of that is MAIB insurance.
The inlaws hate me again but I can live with that.

Very nice! Hope you get all the bugs worked out. Bikes were meant to be ridden, not stored.
When all is said and done, there is usually a whole lot more said than done.
