Durst Motor and Electric in Glebe have had a Sinclair C5 for about 10 years. They use at trade shows to attract attention.

The Austin confused with the Mayflower was probably the Princess. Big ugly beast of a thing.

    Exclamation

I'd forgotten the Zeta! Lightburn was a diversified mob. They also made concrete mixers.

How about the Hillmn Imp? It sucked air up from underneath where the dust, gravel and sand was all stirred up. A not very efficient air filter and you had a ruined engine in no time flat.

Yup caused great injury to itself trying to outrace a Cortina. Damn it was fun though.

That really is positively ugly John.
It would easily win first prize if I put my
next door neighbour's wife in the driving seat.

How about a couple of other hideous contraptions supposedly known as cars, aka the people's car. the Trabant, or even more pig ugly the Wartburg. Even its name suggests ugliness Strangely enough, the former Eastern (Soviet) block produced a fair number of particularly ugly and utterly useless cars, I wonder why that might have been so.

More likely the Austin Sherline as you can see from the pics below somewhat similar in design although the Sherline was a larger car, The Austin Princess of that era had a Vandan Plas body which was all Aluminium and looked very similar to a Rolls Royce at the time..Vandan Plas also built bodies for Rolls Royce.

Still reckon this is the ugliest. Some of the ones posted are undeniably ugly - but interesting at the same time and so qualify as "cute".

The Cord was a beautiful car. The Edsel was a completely 'orrible thing, I think it was modeled on Munchs painting "The Scream"
