Thread: Aldi internet - works well in a bigpond gateway modem !

Hello,

Recently I bought an Aldi sim card and today, just to test it, I stuck it in my old Bigpond gateway modem.

Astonishing ........... Worked perfectly with no tweaking of software or modem settings. My clunky desktop wire connection and my wife's wi-fi connection both worked fine.

I can now watch you tube videos without stopping - have never ever been able to do that in the past. Not even with Amaysim which was way better than my previous Bigpond connection.

And the Aldi card not tied to a huge expensive plan - what a bonus.

..... this is all a huge surprise as Aldi piggybacks onto the Bigpond system but where I live bigpond was never this good in the past.

So worth a try if you were wondering what to do with that Gateway modem gathering dust in the corner ....................
