I have the etax2007_1.exe file if that is what you are after, PM me an email address and I will forward it.

Thanks Groggy, but etax isn't what I'm after. The Personal tax record keeper is published at around the same time as etax, but it is for recording the next year's tax records while etax helps you fill out the last years tax return.

was after this myself as I recently had microsoft fix my pc (long story), but lo and behold, a search on my stored documents found the original installer. Just to let you know that the file size is 17MB, and because I only registered with this forum to resolve your problem, I'm not sure if I'm able to post this sort of file (.exe) here. Please let me know if you still need it.

Thanks for coming on board just to fix my problem.

I have sent you a PM (Private Message) with my email address. Attachments that can be sent to the forum are limited in size, so large things can't get passed around directly on forum pages.

I hope you stay around and get some benefit from the helpful folks here. I find it to be one of the friendlier places on the net!

I actually tried phoning the ATO help line, but got onto somebody that didn't even know what the PTRK was (Mick's BIL?). I followed up with an email enquiry, but haven't received a reply from the ATO yet.

Thanks TM but after several attempts Brian managed to send me a copy of ptrkWin32Setup which is what I was after, I'm not sure what eRecord is.

Even with the wonders of modern email we discovered several issues with trying to send a 16MB attachment.
