Bugger Microsoft!!!!!
I had a message come up on my email sign in screen from Microsoft about security. It concerned an old email address I had that was through Bigpond. I haven't used it for years and had forgotten about it.
I thought I did what they said a in order to protect the security of my account with MS.
I followed all the steps and now I have no access to any email account and have managed to do the same to the wife's account.
HOW can I get in touch with MICROSOFT by phone??

I'd guess that was not Microsoft but some low life malware 'bot. Run an immediate anti-virus and malware scan on your machine. They may already have harvested your email passwords and be using your account/s for spamming, so when/if you can get back in control of them change your passwords immediately.
If you are using one of the 'standard' anti virus programs like Nortons, a lot of malware either disables or re-directs the software's update links so I'd also suggest getting a 'free trial' version of something else - I use MalwareBytes which seems pretty safe, or AdAware and Spybot SD are old reliables. There are some 'free' anti virus trials out there, like Norton's, which attempt to force you to buy a full price version by claiming to have found a large number of virii & malware which the 'free' version can't remove - I don't believe them.

Microsoft don't do this, you have been scammed.
You need to have your computer cleansed & contact whoever currently hosts your e-mail & tell them.
You should have a 'Help Number' for you current e-mail provider, call them.Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts, Cliff.
I had the same message, supposedly from Microsoft, come up on a Hotmail A/c but I ignored it.Tom
