    Default Computer Turns On and Off

    My computer continuously turns on and off by it self.
    Can anyone advise what might be causing this to happen?

    Just wondering how hard to change the motherboard?
    Just been looking at the internet they start from $100.00 and go up.

    Not difficult, usually just plug type connectors, of course then you need will need to reinstall windows, and if suggested above, that your hard drive is or has failed that won't fix it, you will still need to replace the hard drive

    Hard drive,
    Mother board.
    Windows=$$$

    Just buy a new computer

    Instead of buying a new mother board buy a new HD and a offline cloning station.https://amzn.asia/d/gA4aPEU

    Try running chkdsk on the Hard disk & see what it finds. It is part of windows & can be run from gui or command line. Been a while since i used it so not sure about the windows10 options. Google search will help. Don’t download any programs off the internet offering to diagnose your disk.
