folder attachment
Hi all, probably another dumb question, but when writing an email and then attaching a few pics that's no drama, but is it possible to attach a folder containing say 10 plus pics rather than go thru the process of attaching each one,

This shows one way to do this
How to Attach a Folder to an Email | eHow.com
or you can just manually create a zip file of the 10 plus pics and attach the zip file to the email.
Be aware that a lot of email clients don't handle large attachments well and it is often faster to attach individual pics rather than one large zip file.

Thanks Fred, that doesn't seem too hard, basically just zip the folder (compress) and attach as per normal.

There might be attachment size limits on the destination server too. So if you're sending a large file by email to someone out of the blue, it's sometimes a good idea to send a short non-attached email first to say one is coming.
