    Default Torrents and Host files

    I found some very useful sites.

    I particularly like the tips about the hosts file and have implemented it in Vista (so far). Eventually I will put it into the router. Now includes most major parasites, hijackers and unwanted Adware/Spyware.

    The information page on torrents here contains a huge amount of useful information.

    Ohhh - even better than the one I'm using - thanks!

    I don't know how anyone can use the internet without a hosts file that kills ad sites. I can live with a few well targeted ads, but when you get to flash monstrosities that can pop out over the page or continually annoy you with dancing baloney - good riddance!

    And if anyone knows any pre-existing lists of those useless websites that have a high googlerank but only consist of a rehash of google search results...that's on my wish list!
