Help this lady
I am helping a blind lady to use her computer more proficiently and she wants to know if there is keystrokes to save an email contact to her contact list in Outlook Express. when she receives an email from someone for the first time, she wants to be able to save the contact to her contact list.. She doesn't want the contact to be added automatically to her contact list but would rather select who she wants to add.
I know it is easy to do usually but being blind she cannot/does not use the mouse and has to do everything by the keyboard. She has a text reader which helps her but doesn't help her with this.
She is an amazing lady. If anyone knows how to do this using just keyboard shortcuts, I would appreciate your input.I have Googled for an answer but not found one, Maybe it can't be done but I told her I would try to find out.Reality is no background music.
Cheers John

I haven't got a ready answer for you John. There could be a third party add-on/pluggin type thing that assigns keyboard shortcuts to commands within Outlook but I'm not aware of one. This may help though:
Keyboard shortcuts - Outlook - Office.com
P.S. Just remembered wayback there used to be a program called Quickeys but I used it on a Mac, from memory it could assign keyboard shortcuts to appliacation menus. There will be a way somewhere a long the line, maybe contact Microsoft Australia?Last edited by springwater; 21st May 2011 at 10:13 AM. Reason: memory kicked in

Happy ending
I am pleased to say that one of our own forumites AlexS came to the rescue and found a solution to the problem. I am in your debt Alex. the lady is very grateful to you and Andrew for the help and a solution that she or I had not been able to come up with.
Thank you very much.Reality is no background music.
