help with monitor/PC
Just bought new 27inch monitor Asus MT276H and new Computer.
When I switch the computer on I then have to switch the monitor on.
With the old PC I would just switch the PC on and the monitor would just come on automatically.
Any fix for this ( yes I know, no big deal but I am lazy )
Thanks

I suspect the old monitor had it's power cable plugged into the PC's power supply, and the new one doesn't.

This is probably a power option setting on yuor computer in control panel. You need to have the monitor hibernate or enter power saving mode when you close your computer. You should find these settings in your control panel power options assuming you have win 7 installed on the new computer.
Reality is no background music.
Cheers John

The power socket on a computer power supply I believe from every one i have seen is a kettle type socket.
Its also a fairly old idea and not so common on the higher output supplies needed to run modern computers.
So chances are unless you are going to bodgie up some lead arrangement, there aint no way
