    Depends.

If you want it for getting around region blocking so you can watch something on YouTube, or get to sites that would otherwise auto-redirect you to their Australian site (so you can see how much we get ripped by the 'Australia Tax'), I'd be happy to use it.

If you want a paid-for VPN, check out the TorrentFreak website, as they do comparisons of VPN providers.

And I find it funny that on one hand, the government wants to collect our metadata (because terrorists*!!!), but on the other, wants to introduce ISP legislation that will make people (defined here as 'everyone in Australia who wants to watch Game of Thrones when it airs without paying $20 per episode to Foxtel') use VPNs, making metadata collection useless!!

*that's terrorists who use their Australian ISP's email address for communicating, because messages via Facebook, GMail et al are out of scope.

Create a new account with appropriate USA (or wherever) details. You should never use real information about yourself on the internet anyway!

The occasional time I've had a "This video is not available in your country" message I just torrent the thing. (don't want to make it available? That's ok, I didn't really want to pay for it anyway!)
