old laptop screens
I have several old laptop screens hp Compaq and similar and I wanted to hook them all up to a dvd player does anyone know how to go about this?

Do you mean you still have the laptops, or just the creens out of their lids?
Connecting several laptops to a DVD player is possible (not necessarily cheap though). because it requires a video splitter/repeater.
Connecting just the screens is a much more complex undertaking! It would require designing backlight driver/power supplies, video drivers and data format conversion for each.
Sorry.
The simple solution would be to buy cheap VIDEO display screens with video input - rather than computer screens - and hook them up to a DVD player.Cheers,

Joe's nailed it - using bits out of laptops like screens is usual too complicated and not worth it.
