Omron Zen PLC
Dear members,
Not quite sure where to place this thread, so I'll start here.
I'm looking to hear from members who have had some experience in programming the miniature Omron Zen PLC. Strictly speaking, it's a programable relay unit.
I'm trying to pick up the basics of creating a ladder diagram for this unit, and have the trial simulation software, at hand.
Can't seem to get past first base, and need some assistance.
Any takers out there?

What do you need to know Ken?
Have you done any PLC programming before?
I've been programming for many years and have had a play with the Omron units but have never programmed one for an application. Mainly do the larger PLC installations. Those were the droids I was looking for.

NCArcher,
Back in the days of the ark, I programmed a palletising robot system for CIG, all I learnt then about PLC's, has since been forgotten.
I have drawn up a sample ladder diagram, a few lines long, and would like someone to translate this into a program that I can load into the Zen software I have, just so I can see what's happening.
I can email it you, if you are happy to have a look.
All assistance appreciated.

Convert to Omron Zen software
Attached is my sample ladder diagram, something I should have done in the first place.
This circuit doesn't actually do anything, but was drawn as an excercise in the hope that a kind member will convert it to Omron Zen software. The PLC I wish to use is a Zen 20C1AR-A-V2.
I'm hoping to receive a download that I can run with the Zen software I have, just to see how it's done.

It never ceases to amaze me how kind our members are with their patience and time.
A big thank you to Woodcutter and NCArcher for their instruction, programs and advice on using the Omron Zen PLC.
Thanks fellas,
