    Default Outlook Data Recovery

Xp has died on me and looks like I need to reinstall or reformat
I'm wondering if its possible to recover my emails and address lists not to mention favorites folder in I.E. and info on my desktop

I can put the hard drive into an other computer but where are the emails and can I do this.

Stick the HDD in another PC as a 2nd drive & search for *.pst files.
That is where your Outlook stuff is kept.

The Favorites are in a folder called 'Favorites', do a search for that.
It will be under the 'Documents and Settings' folder under the name you log on as.
Your 'Desktop' folder is right next to your 'Favorites' folder, while you are in there, grab the 'My Documents' folder as well.
