Password manager
I recently had messages on my iPhone telling me that my passwords have been appeared in data leaks.
I was wondering what these passwords manager’s are like ?
Can they be used for both iPhone and iPad?
Can anyone recommend something?

I ignore those messages. My iPhone is telling me my AppleID password has appeared in a data breach! Just use a unique, strong password for each website you log into. Activate 2FA or use an authentication app if it’s offered. iOS has a password manager that syncs your passwords across all your devices.

I have almost completed moving from a 3rd password manager to using the iPhone password manager. So much easier & it suggests passwords to use. Great because everything I log into has a completely different password.

Thanks for your replies.
I use the same password on both the wood and metal forums, I can get on the wood site but not the metal site, it tells me that I am using an invalid username or password.
I used the password stored on the iPhone and checked my old laptop the password is correct.
I cannot use the password reset as it goes to an obsolete email address.
Is there some thing
I got to do to do that syncs my passwords to the iPad?

Seriously, these are questions best directed to Google. You will find Youtube videos stepping you through the process. Much quicker than one of us typing out the steps for you.
Re the defunct email address on the metalwork forum- contact the Admin.

If you are using Apple products, you can sync your passwords on all devices using the Apple password manager. To do this, you need to have an "icloud" account and have it activated on all devices. I have Macbook, ipad and iphone and have my passwords synced on all three.
However, I have found "Dashlane" to be an easier to use product than the apple system. I use Dashlane on a daily basis on all platforms (you can also sync it with Microsoft based computers / android phones etc). With Dashlane, you open an account with them (a one-off cost) and set up a master password. This is the only password that you need to remember, make it a good one - and you can change it regularly if you like. You then log into Dashlane on all of your devices using that same password, and the devices will then all be synced - any password set up for a website / forum etc on one device will automatically be available to you on other devices. When first logging into any site, Dashlane will "suggest" a password - I always use these as they are very secure.
