    Default New PC Build

    Hey Guys,
I'm going to be building a new pc in the next 2-3 weeks and unless anyone can offer improvements this is what I'm going to go with:
It's very much a budget build but this is about the minimum performance I'm willing to live with.

My current PC is seven years old and has run 24/7, so for that reason I'm staying with the same brand board & ram - O/S will be Win10, HD's will be solid state for the OS, a pair of 3 tb's and a pair of old 1's for storage.
The CPU requires a graphics card, this one while basic will run up to three monitors with a max digital res of 4096 X 2160, I run 1920x1080 but would like to go twin monitor down the track. I figure this card will be plenty for me.
    Thoughts please.

    Intel Core i5 9400F 6 Core LGA1151 2.9GHz CPU Processor
    $239
    Asus GeForce GT710 2GB GDDR5 Video Card
    $62
Asus TUF B360M-E Gaming LGA 1151 mATX Motherboard
    $136
    G.Skill RIPJAWS V 16GB KIT(8GBX2)DDR4 2400MHZ 1.2V
    $128
    Western Digital WD30EZRZ Blue 3TB SATA 6Gb HDD 64M
    $125
Thermaltake Core X2 Stackable mATX Cube Chassis
    $107
Thermaltake 600W Smart RGB 80+ Power Supply
    $83

All these prices are from Umart in Qld, if anyone knows an online or ebay shop that's cheaper I'd appreciate a heads up - these prices are way cheaper than MSY & PLE.

I'll not comment too much on things here, but:
i5. Is there much step up to an i7? Usually that's a worthwhile performance benefit that extends the life of a device.
SSD. You haven't got one listed yet?
Staticice.com.au. Best price comparison tool I know.

That cpu (and it is the cheapest i5) is $239, the cheapest i7 is $555 - that's just way too much.
As for the SSD, I'll be re-using a patriot 240gig from my Win7 box - I'll just format it during the Win10 instal.

When I built my last box, I ended up with an amd ryzen CPU. Seemed to be much better bang for my buck.
I haven't checked graphic prices recently but that seems very cheap. May be worth stepping up a notch there if you are thinking of any sort of 3d design.
Otherwise, not sure if 16g memory is warranted?
