Quickbooks Accounting Question
Hi
Just about ready for tax and thanks to Mr Quickbooks Accounting things are looking good.
Decided it was about time to assign the correct Tax code to each of the accounts, as in;
ADJ, CAF, CAG, CAI, NCF, NCG, NCI etc.
Couldnt work out which went with which even using quickbooks for dummies so rang a quickbooks setup guru to arrange her to come and help.
Neds mum says she charges $130 ph min 2 hrs (okay, bit more than I expected but ok) and then a call out fee of $70 (business hours of course not by appointment, imagine the fee if it was 3am ). So Mrs Kelly will have to wait as I told her to jam it politely .
Anyone know of a link to a tax site or similar that lists which goes with which?
cheers

Strewth!
You should be able to find somebody a bit more reasonable that that.
I've been fixing computers for 29 years & I've been using QB for about 12 years now but when GST came in, I got the QB lady out to help me.
Now that it is all set up, I only need to call her about once a year to help with the journal entries after the wild chook at the accountant's office has shifted stuff all over the place.
The lady I use is about $80/hour & it rarely takes more than an hour.Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

I found the guys on Quicken.com to be prety helpfull. I spoke to a guy in QLD that was able to shed some light on the tax codes. I have decided to get QB data entry person to re enter all my data, it works out cheeper than the QB lady. $50/hr set up by a pro, I will let you know how it goes, if all works out well I will post the details here
