    Default Server expertise needed

I've just joined up with a guy, who is running a small consultancy in IT support. I am project managing a server upgrade for one of our clients, which requires a hardware and software upgrade. The guy that normally handles our server needs has decided to retire, and I am looking for someone else to do this work for us.

Does anyone know of a knowledgeable, and very experienced, server guy, that would be interested in handling our server stuff as it comes up. I envisage someone running, or involved in, a small business, that is looking for more work.

This project involves upgrading a Windows server 2003 standard edition to Enterprise, Upgrading RAM, and increasing disk capacity on a Modular Storage unit.

Generally, the work would be somewhere around the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, but may be elsewhere in Melbourne.

I am in Melbourne and had ran IT business before.
Can manage servers but all depends how widespread and how complex they are.
PM with your requirements and details
    Thank you

    Hi guys,

Thanks for the responses. Sorry it's taken so long to reply, but these posts didn't come up on my 'new posts' lists.

I have had discussions with the client, and, because of the critical nature of the job, I have goy HP quoting on it. The client is willing to pay the premium, and is much happier as he has used HP before.
