    Default Anybody use CCleaner?

I use CCleaner on a regular basis to clean up my PC, however when I do it empties out all my login details for the various forums and other sites I log it to. What, if any settings are there to prevent this?

John, have got Saved Passwords or Network password checked in the windows partition of Ccleaner or Saved Passwords in Applications ( Firefox/Chrome)? If yes, uncheck.

Thanks guys, I have Passwords unchecked, but still lose stuff. Should I also uncheck cookies?

John, uncheck cookies as well. It is painful, but an one off action.

To replace that functionality (getting rid of cookies) use something like the Self-Destructing Cookies add-on for Firefox, and whitelist the sites you are happy to leave alone (all the others get their cookies deleted as soon as you leave the page or finish your browsing session)
