    Default Transfering Email Addresses

We have recently purchased a lap top computer and would like to transfer all email contacts from PC to the lap top without manually doing each separately. We are using Incredimail on both systems. Any advice would be appreciated ....Regards........AL

    Hello and Merry Christmas

I don't use Incredimail, but the principles will be the same as OE

Open your address book (contacts) on the PC

Find export, it is usually in one of the drop down menu's like File

It will ask you to define a place to export the contacts to, and probably a file type (OE uses WAB) have USB to do this with if possible.

Set the export file to go to the USB, it will ask you to name the file, doesn't matter what you name it.

Once the export is completed, take the USB to the laptop.

Open your address book on the Laptop.

Find Import, probably in the same place export was.

It will ask you what file to Import, by using Browse or similar option find the address book file that you exported to the USB

Follow the instructions to Import the Address book.

    Hope this helps.

To save your IncrediMail Address Book,

In the IncrediMail main window, click the 'File' menu, scroll down to 'Export' and select 'Contacts'.

    1. At this point, the 'Save As' dialog opens. Click 'Save' to save the 'IncrediMail Exported Contacts (csv format)' file to your Desktop.
    2. Your Address Book is saved. Copy the 'IncrediMail Exported Contacts (csv format)' file to a secure location, such as a floppy diskette or a CD, for future use.
Retrieving your IncrediMail Address Book in a new or in an existing IncrediMail installation, follow these steps:
    1. In the IncrediMail main window, click the 'File' menu, scroll down to 'Import' and select 'Contacts'.
    2. At this point, the 'Import Contacts' dialog opens. Select 'IncrediMail Exported Contacts (csv format)' and click 'Next'.
    3. Click 'Select File', browse to the location of your 'IncrediMail Exported Contacts' CSV file and click 'Open'.
    4. Your Address Book is imported into your new IncrediMail installation and is ready for use.
    Reality is no background music.
    Cheers John
