Default New user friendly Linux Mint 9 OS available now.

For those of you who want to try one of the Linux OS products, Linux Mint 9 Isadora is now up and running and available as a live CD. All you have to do is download it (Google for download) and burn to disc and you are ready to go. Installation is not necessary if you just want to trial Linux Mint 9. Just set your boot up sequence on your computer to CD ROM drive as first boot up device and put the disc in and it will boot up to Linux.

This will take a few minutes and you will be able to trial the program from there (the disc) . You will also have the option to "install" the program when you reach this screen but it will run from the live CD for you to trial.

You can also trial the software through Virtualbox but that is time consuming to install that way and you need to install Virtualbox first. Running with the live CD is best in my opinion.

Linux Mint 9 is, of course, a free OS. Give it a try guys, its fun and you might be surprised. This is the most user friendly version of Linux, much better than Ubuntu in my opinion..

BTW this download is quite large, around 650MB so if you have a slow connection like dial up for instance it may be better to get someone to download it for you who has a faster download speed.
