Possible problem with win10
My fairly new computer has two operating systems. It had win 7, sneekily up dated to win 10, by Microsoft, and win xp. I did this so I could still run my old version of Autocad R14.
Now that win 10 is the operating system, I can no longer get xp to run from the start up menu. I get a message that says Windows root>system32/ntoskrnl.exe is missing or corrupt. The foward slash should be a back slash but that key doesn't work)
That's the first problem, No2 is if I fire up win10 and open a Autocad2000i drawing, and try to make a dxf file, my computer crashes. This did not happen when running win7.
Q. How can I revert back to win 7? I have an official win7 disk
Ken
edit, does someone have a copy of xp I could borrow, my disk is long gone.
edit 2. found my xp disk but the serial and key sticker is missing. How do I uncover this info?

You are going to need a cracked copy of XP 'cos Mickysoft won't active it any more even if you have a real copy.
Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.
