Region coding? First thing I can think of is if your DVD player in the one computer is set at a certain region, yet the others may be region free. This would enable you to read all disks on 2, but not on one.

    1) Try playing it with VLC media player - its free and it supports a lot of formats that Windows Media Player will baulk at.

    If that doesn't work...

    2) Download the free version of DVDFab and rip the DVD to you hard drive; this will get rid of region coding, prohibited user operations, macrovision protection and all that nonsense in case this is the stuff giving you trouble. If it can't make a copy, then the disk may be faulty.

Another one is AnyDVD, gets rid of region coding, copy protection, you name it, it does it.

What format has the DVD been done in

Is it possible that the DVD player is to old to read it

How old is the machine Win 95+ compared to the other machines you tried it on.

Has the machine you cant load it up onto got the latest of drivers, some times if it has been burnt at a much hire rate it can't be read by older players.
