Hey that's a good looking 32 year old. (All 32 year olds look good to guys as old as me).
You have really looked after it.
I've got an old one of my own (2nd hand in 1975) but it's bloody dangerous to ride. The brakes are shocking compared to what is around now. Just can't part with the old girl though!

Foo, the CR1 cost me $3100 so your quote seems like a good price.
Bike wasn't damaged during the fall but I copped a nice bruise on my thigh.

Well I put a deposit on a Wheeler Route 61full carbon fibre bike today!!!It has Shimano Ultegra/Dura-Ace group set and cranks with Rotor chain rings, even the handle bars are to.Shame the seat will split me in two.
Here is the link! it is photo 13

Nice looking ride Foo. Group set is good and youll notice the difference over the 105 gear.
Seats are often the first thing you change out on a new bike. The seats are a weak point on the Scott CR1 and Ill be changing out mine asap.
Happy riding!Whatever note you blow youre never more than a semitone away from the correct one....(Miles Davis)

Foo,
Too late for us slow people- the link has been taken off the BikeExchange site (probably because you put a deposit down). Hey they don't operate like ePay where you can lose a purchase after closing time!
Look forward to a picture when you get the bike Foo.
Take care on the road,
Graham

Well I went and picked the bike up to-day.When I got it home,I put on my lights, drink cage and bike computer, then weighed it.It came in at 8.3 kgs with, the drink bottle full. To say I am very happy is an understatement.
The Rotor chain rings are worth $429.29,for them alone. These things are not round, but elliptical, and are supposed to be easier on the joints, and promote more fluid motion, while riding.
They told me that the bloke selling it,,just wanted it sold and some quick money. He wasn't hard done by really, because the bike shop sponsored him with a new Canondale worth $10,000.

Hi Graham,
I will post up a photo to-day,as I am not really Knowledgeable on doing this,so I need my wife to help me through the procedure o do it.
Took the bike for its first ride this morning and holy hell, what a difference in the ride! The carbon fibre certainly makes a huge difference in reducing vibrations from the road, travelling up through the bars and seat post!

Foo,
That's one beast of a bike. Guess you'll be whizzing past me one day and i'll get a glimpse of that tail light.
Looks like it's all set up with a speedo and everything.
Will you be sleeping with it?
