Looks like it's all set up with a speedo and everything.

Will you be sleeping with it?

That is the LED light and cycle computer I had on my old one.Looks a bit rough at the moment, because the carbon bars are to wide for the normal mounting bracket. But still,it will do until I figure out something better.

There's another one that grew in the garage. It's like what happened when routers started reproducing.
I know Nathan will be envious so I'll just say it's an update of the Bianchi that I have already.
I 'did' Catherine Hill last week so the fitness is coming (slowly).

Crikey! Replicating already! Need some pics though!

Congratulations on Catherine Hill too!!!! Up the old Hume I guess (alot quiter than the Hume)?

My riding is still stuck at the 50km mark (Thirlmere to Yerrinbool return). I really should try to get to Mittagong, the way back shouldn't be too bad.

If only there was a way to get from the M7 cycleway to Smithfield, that didn't involve sharing the roads with the many trucks, then I could do a decent ride twice a day.

2nd in charge not exactly wrapped in the idea of another bike cluttering up the garage. Has nominated me for Guiness Book of records as the only guy who can ride 3 bikes at once............. why else would you have 3 bikes?

It was a lot easier when the routers were reproducing- some were orange and that was a problem.

Nathan, now that you can get to Yerrinbool, you know what's next. You will be able to do it if us old bu%&^ers can make it (just).

I'm curious about the gear. Do you have the gear and everything? What shoes do you use?

I've got some gloves, knicks, and I'm using the Shimano SPD shoes and cleats. Mittagong will be my next aim.

Those Bianci frames are great.....will be trading in the Scott in about 12 months and moving up to a Bianci. As far as group set goes Ive been eyeing up the SRAM Red gear but have heard varying reviews (noisey with the SRAM chain and clunky changing with the SRAM cables) of same so may go with Campie gear.

I was able to get the Chorus groupset for $1200 from Ireland. Frame was bought by shop with Veloce groupset which they took off for another bike. You probably have wheels and a seat which you are happy with. All under $K5 for a bike listed as $K8.

This is my first venture into all carbon so it's a learning experience for me.

You won't believe how well the CF frame will soak up the road shock.

Well today, on impulse, I bought a Giant Upland SE. Yep the cheapest mountain bike I could get It's got front suspension, rapid fire gears, silly fat tires and a funny seat with a hole in it. The suspension is faaantastic because I ride a horrible rocky road each day. The tires are a pain because most of my daily ride is bitumen

The ol' Cyclestar (cheap brand I think) died because the spring arm thing moved into the spokes, bringing me to a very sudden stop

Congrats on the new wheels. If youre mainly on the bitumen then fit some slicks.

Slicks = smooth tyres, say 23mm wide (tyres with no knobbly tread like a mountain bike tyre).

When I only had a mountain bike I put slicks on, as most of my cycling was on road. Difference was a bike that was much easier to pedal. Then I just swapped over to the knobbly tyres when going off road (its a good way to learn how to change tyres too!).
