Kea Conqueror – Improved Rear Annexe

The original annexe over the rear door area is rudimentary at best, ponds with rainwater, and has no side wind protection.

I now use the original steel poles, and Oztrail brand “Hiker and Camper" Fysheets.

I use the “Hiker” for quick setup for overnight stay in light rain, and the “Camper” for a longer stay, as it is much better but takes longer to setup.

There are 150mm stretch cord loop sections in each stay to reduce the dreaded flapping in wind.
Attachment to the wheel arch is by "S" shape plastic hooks.
The peculiar shape of the Hiker centre rear is for effective rain drainage

I have given up trying to a perfect situation.

Photos for you to get the general idea.
