    Default Water pump install.

I had a spare water pump that I normally use for pumping coolant around my lathe so decided to put it to work on my van. Previously, I've installed diaphragm pumps but the noise and high pressure really turned me off them.

This pump is a brushless centrifugal which can be mounted outboard or submersed and has a head height of around 1.5 metres.

I had to fab an aluminium bracket to support the pump, plumbed it to the existing hand pump tap and installed a push button switch at the back of the benchtop.

The pump works well, it's silent and supplys plenty of water with little to no pressure so, the manual hand pump can now be use by hand as originally intended or electrcally by just pushing the switch.
