    Default Acknowledgement

Acknowledgement of, and thank you for, valuable info provided on this forum.

To Chris Parks, Bob Loss, (in particular) and other valued members.

For the past 18 months I have been up-grading my ToyShed. (Completely new shed. No.3 in the swim of things). In doing so my major focus was to improve the old most inadequate dust system.
I wish to acknowledge and thank Chris for his helpful comments and advice re ClearVue extractors, Woodman, Blast gates, Fan sizes, etc.
To Bob, for his indescribable amount of information, detailed and helpful info on ALL things DUST and VSD drives. Have watched your Men’s Shed videos more times than I care to count but still find myself when trying some things in practice, that “I heard what you said, but not what you meant. !!!”

And while I am on it I should also mention Woodpixel and thank him for his “throw-a-way” line on clearing clogging dust from the thread of the Router Lift. A few years ago I did a lot of research on this problem, all the way back to the manufacture, to no avail then read Woodpixel post “I just jam the air hose in….” Works a treat. Thank you Evan.

The accompanying pics are attached without comment or explanation, Bob, Chris, and are purely to give some idea of the “pond I am swimming in”

    Thanks a million
    Dick

PS. Have spent half hour trying to attach pics but have no idea if any of the button tapping has had any effect. Cheers.

That's a fantastic setup you've ended up with.

Wish I had that much space to spread things out a bit !!

That’s not a shed, that’s an industrial factory, looks awesome.
    I’m jealous.

    Cheers Matt.

Yes. I've discussed it a few times and I'm SUPER happy with it.

    Its the chicago pneumatic HUSH50.

Its currently on special too. I bought it for $849 on 8/2019.... bargain!

How is one to be happy with an air compressor? Its weird, isn't it. They just do one thing.... but this one is NICE.

Its sexy looking, quiet and fast.

I had an absolute rip-snorter before this and its a beast, but this one is great to wheel around and use up close. No ear splitting noise
