Common fella's. We do not have Aldi. Have to plead with one of my sons to get me something. At least got a vac,but still have to go to Melbourne to get it. Turns out very darn expensive, but get to see the kids. Oh well the price we pay for being a dad.

God save us, I can't take the suffering of our Tassie, SA WA brethren any more! Why don't you boys lobby someone who lives close to Port Melbourne to get some things for you? If you follow Wheelin's tools link you can log in to Aldis and they'll send you an email every week, 7 days before the sale, and you can even get them to send you an email reminder on each tool the morning of the sale. Get the goodies onto the boat to Tassie once a month, Tankstand knows something about Border express to Adelaide, put them on a train to WA.
The freight will be negligible between you. You just have to think it through and work it out together. Maybe three people in Melbourne, one for each state, maybe a rotating roster blah blah....

Nothing for the workshop at Aldis on 7th July. Thank gawd for that! Last time I was in the Katoomba shop there were still some shop vacs if anyone is interested. I'll check again when I go down to get some cheap Brasso.

Aldis katoomba still have 8 shop vacs
OK, checked the Katoomba store this morning and there are still 8 shop vacs left. I reckon that they'll be down to $69 in about two weeks (coz they're obviously not all going to move by then).
Anyone in western Sydney who wants one and who can't get up here soon enough can send me a PM, otherwise go for a drive and take an extra jumper.
BTW, they still have tools left from all the recent sales.

Those Grrrraters.
Hi Everybody,
Well I was a Day late to have a look at the $7.99 Graters. ( Microlines we think. )
There were only what you would call Food Graters left, & I went to 2 Aldi's that were 15 K's. apart, & both had the same ones left.
I was looking forward to getting a look at them. Just couldn't make it Thur. 30th.
So HazzaB if you are reading this, I'm sorry Mate but I missed out.
Did anyone fair better than me.?Regards,
issatree.
Have Lathe, Wood Travel.

Ashore, how would you say they compare with Microplanes? And what do you think of the Microplanes?

Picked up 2 packs of F clamps.....they're ok on square surfaces, not great even with little angles.....unlike my Bessey's which grab perfectly on just about anything......10x the price I guess.....
