Whitlesea show
The Whitlesea Show is on next weekend the 3rd and 4th of November. The turning club I'm a member of (Manningham turners)will have a stand there doing demo's and talking to people.
Just thought I'd let you guy's know incase you may want to visit. I will personaly be there on Sunday so please pop by and say hello.
The show in my opinion is better than the Royal show and is a good family day out.

Sorry for the delayed responce but I've been away, while I could email you directly I'll post it here for all to see.
If your going to Whitlesea from Melbourne, as you get into the town you will come across a roundabout which you will turn right at. This will take you through the town centre, go right through the town and on the outskirts on the left are the show grounds. I'ts actually quite easy if in doubt ask the locals.
Park your car where ever and come inside.
thanks for asking, hope to see some of you there.
regards
Gino

Oops I've steered you all wrong.
I hadn't been to whitlesea for a few years now and I went there tonight to drop off some stuff for the weekend show and found that the directions a slightly incorrect.
You do not turn right at the first roundabout you go right through it when you hit the main part of the town you will vear right just like as if you were doing a right hand turn. about 100M away is a round about which you go straight through also after that you have about 500M of town left and shortly after that you get to the show grounds.
either way you couldn't have gone that far wrong, like I say if you speak the language you should be fine.
Best regards
Gino.
