    I hope you all are able to attend your local Dawn Service.
    I have been attending mine for 40yrs and do so appreciate the continued community turn outs from 30 when I started to now in something like 700.
    Plus our local March which has grown as more and more honouring those who have and are serving.
    It's not a holiday but a memorial day.

    Just had the honour to act as MC for our local Dawn Service attended by our PM. A marvellous turnout and very moving ceremony.

    4AM ANZAC day is a must to attend. Meet good people, enjoy the atmosphere, make yourself a part and true citizen of Australia.

    Me (or at least the back of my head) as MC conducting the Dawn Parade to a crowd of about 4000. The bloke seated third from left is our PM Chris Hipkins. The press were out in force and this was the only photo I could find with me in it although some would consider that a blessing.
