Australia Day 2009 Small Boat Regatta & Picnic
Lake Placid, Cairns.
10:00 am til 2:00 pm.
Small boats only, no ramp access, no motors, no fishing.Cliff.

I left my camera at home.
I also got there late.
Some great small craft on show, a really nice little one man canoe that the kids loved.
I met a bloke who has a set of plans for one of Michael Storer's GISs & there were a couple of PDRacer T shirts but no PDRacers.... yet.
The good bit was to see an elderly retired couple (in their 70s) in their recently completed boat.
She built it & they both sailed it.
I'll see what pics I can scrounge of others who went along.Cliff.
