Default AWR Student Awards Popular Choice Award Vote on Facebook

Hi, some fantastic work by Year 11 and 12 secondary schools can now been seen on our website at Australian Wood Review: student entries 2015
You can make comments on the website if you wish.

I've also posted a photo from each entry onto our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/Woodreview/ as there is also a Popular Choice Award on offer. A "like" is a vote, and you can like as many entries as you want.

In any case, wishing everyone on the forum a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year,
    Linda Nathan

Just spent some time looking at ALL the projects. There is no doubt that the future of fine and imaginative woodworking is in capable hands.

Its nigh impossible to say which one is the best as there are so many different themes, styles and techniques/methods used.

The many teachers involved also need to take a bow as well for without their input we would not be admiring such fantastic work.
The person who never made a mistake never made anything

    Cheers

It is a shame that those of us not on Facebook cannot vote via the web-site

It's true not everyone is on Facebook or wants to sign up, however FB has proved to be a great way for friends and family to view and comment on entrants' work.

People can also make comments on the website (at the bottom of each entry) if they wish and some have done that as well.
