Australian Wood Art Gallery
G'day from tropical north Queensland,
We're delighted to announce the opening of our online gallery at ;
http://www.australianwoodart.com.au/
This is our way of overcoming the " tyrany
of distance", being so far from major cities, exhibitions and galleries. Our state capital, Brisbane, is halfway from here to Melbourne!
Until now, our international clients have had to come to Cairns to find us. Now we can exhibit anywhere, anytime. We'd welcome your opinions.
Regards,
Carmel and Dave

Hi Carmel and Dave. Your work is absolutely beautiful, would love to see it in the flesh. I think the site is very attractive due to plenty of examples of your work. I had a couple of minor difficulties with the site. When I went into the text areas (Design etc) some of the words were over the top of each other making it difficult to read. Not all of the text fiited on my screen until I hid some of the tool bars on my browser, there was no scroll bar to get to the lower words. The site navigation tools are difficult to read on my screen and I thought the forward/back tools were a bit cryptic, I just clicked on them hoping there would be more pics. Maybe I'm just dumb. Great site though and as I said beautiful woodwork. Hope the negative side of my comments are taken in the right context (feed back). Oh, also a couple of inside shots of desks or whatever would be good to. Good luck. Rod

Thanks Rod,
Our site was optimized for later operating systems and larger screens. If you change the screen size on your browser, you'll need to reload. Multiple views of each piece are available by clicking on the images. Thank you for your comments.

Yeah, yeah, I know, I need a new computer (p90)with a bigger screen (14"), no need to rub it in. Maybe next year. Rod
PS Just giving honest feed back, not whining or criticising cause I like the sound of my own typing.
