    Default The Australian Woodturning Exhibition

    Hi to All You Woodturners, Woodworkers,

    The Australian Woodturning Exhibition & Sales will be on next weekend.

    Fri.14th. Sat.15th. Sun.16th. June, 2013, at the Waratah Room, Whitehorse Centre, 397 Whitehorse Road, Nunawadding, Vic.

    Times ; F 10am.- 8pm.// Sa. 10am - 5pm.// Su. 10am. - 4pm.

    There will be some of the best Turning's you wood ever wish to see. Last Year there were over 300 entries to view.
    It is always interesting to see who will take out " The Best of Show ".

    Default Any companies have stalls there ?

    Will any of the companies like CarbaTec and McJing etc have stall there like at the woodwork show ?

    Or is it 100% turned pieces and nothing else ?

    I couldnt tell from the web site.

    There are no vendors. It is a competition for Australian Woodturners.

    Hi Bill,
    Why not ask around, as there is bound to be someone going.
    Warrugal Woodies, I think usually go for a look.
    I can assure you that you have never see, anything like these Turners make.
    Well worth the effort to attend.

    And if you go you can always nick down rooks road opposite it to Mathews timber.
    Thats my plan anyway, then maybe to pops shed as well.

    is there a mailing list that you can subscribe too, as I missed this show and would whilst my work is not that good at the moment, I would love to enter something in the 'beginners' cat. next year..

    It is always held the weekend following the (Victorian) Queens Birthday holiday and entries close during may.
