    G'day Rick,

Congratulations on your little fella! To your wife and you aswell. The fun you'll have being a kid again just when your wife was probably hoping you'd grow up - the toy cars etc.

Looking forward to being a first time dad myself in February.
I make things, I just take a long time.

Very true Waldo !! I'm already making and playing with wooden toys . Gosh I'm 41 years old and playing with a wooden snail on the carpet , hes not even home yet which makes it worse

Seriously , thank you all for your kind messages of good will . It really adds to the already fantastic feeling .

Aaaaaaawwwww isn't he cute and so much black hair . Chip off the old block!? Wonderful news to see a future little woodie surrounded by so many wholesome timber goodies - something to teethe on. My little chappie is 10 months old and I'm 45yo - hey fatherhood is a wonderful adventure - enjoy every day they grow so quick. Have you got or made one of these for him yet? https://www.woodworkforums.com/f40/baby-change-table-trolley-21141

    Default Two thumbs up

Hey Rick - congratulations on the new addition. My daughter Amy is 3 months old today - no-one's advice means anything until reality kicks in.

Just had a closer look at your cradle - eerily like the one I made for Amy Michaela born 22 June, 3.090kg. Hope things are going well for you
