Hi, Issatree (Lewis) is not in the best of health, had his eyes operated on a few weeks ago, now has a bad bout of whooping cough and will be in quarantine for the next week.
As Lewis was one of our demonstrators at Barwon Valley Woodwrights shows we will have a big gap to fill. Get well soon Lewis. John.

Poor Excuse.
Hi to you all,
Thank You John, but the Eyes are pretty good, even without my Glass Bottle Lens Glasses.
Yes, I'm on the sick list at this time.
Might make the Show, ( 9 ) fingers crossed.
Turned out NOT to be Whooping Cough, maybe just something a lot of people have at the moment.
The Cough is bad, but every day it gets better.
Thank You All.Regards,
issatree.

I've had some feedback from a local source. Letting kids have a go at woodworking activities is a winner. Thanks to whoever organised that.
We don't know how lucky we are......

We had a good day , plenty of kids to assemble precut items, pencil cases, bird boxes, tool carry boxes, motor cars , helicopters etc.
Attendance was good , plenty of tickets sold for our raffles. Must give credit to a member who makes pens, one given to anyone that bought a book of 10 raffle tickets, ($20 ).
On again tomorrow. I sold a couple of models. cheers John.

If you are in Geelong tomorrow in support of the Cotton On run, do yourself a favour and drop by to have a look at a great display of quality woodcrafts.
There is a whole new layout, and lots of new items on display and for sale. You can even bring a chisel or plane blade along for Jim Carroll to professionally sharpen for you, to evaluate the difference between hand grinding, and using jigs.
This is possibly the last Victorian exhibition before Chistmas, so come along and stock up on those special gifts.Dallas
