    Default The Barwon Valley Show.

    Hi to you All,
Yes, Stinky, we missed your smiling face, & of course all your input of Toys as well
Unfortunately Kevin M also had to miss as well, which left a big hole, as Aussie's Photos show.
But, we soldiered on to the best of our ability, & made quite a lot of sales as well.
From Belmont Computer Centre, we obtained a TV & DVD Player to use free of cost, for the 2 Days,
& we thank them very much.
Will have a better report Later.
    Regards,
    issatree.

Thanks for the photos Aussie. Some good looking work there but there is also quite a bit of open space unfortunately. I would have loved to have had a closer look at some of those guitars.

Lewis ..... hope Kev is ok. Not often he misses one of the shows. It might be time for B.V. to work in with some of the other clubs in the area to help out a little. The recent posts show that Colac are very active so even if a few members made the trip to Geelong it may help add some additional work.

Good news is that we have just purchased a new property with a 6mx6m new garage. Moving in 4 weeks so I can finally start to produce some more work again. Not sure if I will be able to get stuff back over again for the show but I would like to pop over again ..... next year perhaps.

    Stinky.

    Hi Wheely
Yeh Jim was there again, with a lot of gear.He is a local. He is about 15 minutes drive from where the show was.
I am not a member of the club,I was just a lurker there looking for some Ideas and meeting some people.
Bought a book of tickets and received a (free) pen.Well Carol did.
I saw some kids with a plastic bag full of precut parts. All had smiles as if it was Xmas time.Seemed to be a hit with them.
I met all sorts of people.Even the security Guard came up to me and started talking race cars and motor bikes for quite some time.
I was wearing my black World Series Sprintcar Jacket.so I surpose that was a giveaway.
I also had on my cap with AUSSIE Car Maker on it.A couple knew what it meant. One guy said OH do you work at Fords making cars/or something to that effect.I got a laugh out of that.
One thing I missed at the show was old Practical Woodworking Mags.I bought a stack of them last year and was cashed up wanting more but none there.
Wheely_ I have all of them back now,but cant find the List we had,if you want them that is.
Unlike me, I did more talking than looking and had a great time
Now waiting for a phonecall to say I won the Writing Desk make by Ninefingers.OOh well I can dream

All over again for another year. Better crowds today with a bit more pleasant weather.
Yes Micheal you assortment of work was missed as was the others from your club.

Yes Ray it is nice to do a show and be in our own bed for a change.

Only one more to go in Tassy for the new DIY show in launceston then home for the christmas break.
