While I'm here, I need a little favour. It would be much appreciated if you could Check out THESE PAGES and let me know if they're toooooo yellow. I like 'em. While you're there check out the newly updated Polishers Handbook with it's spiffy new front and back cover.

Sorry Neil, too yellow. Makes it bright and a bit of a strain on the eyes. Why don't you try for a more mustard yellow?

Buggar....... I guess the eyes are shot as well as the ears. All I wanted was to make it stand out and get away from the insipid duck egg blue and other soppy pastel colours.

Oh well - back to the drawing board - (sigh...)

Bit bright! For what it's worth, yellow gives the impression of cheapness, hence its frequent use on sale signs etc. That may or may not be what you want.

Not sure if you have changed the background colour since you first posted the question, but the yellow background you have there looks nice to me...

Better the bright than the drab Neil ...it grabs your attention and as John say's they can always turn down their monitor's
