    Default BEENATREE GALLERY Opening on 28 8 99.

    Beenatree Crafts of Cranbourne would like to extend to all, a cordial inviation to attend the opening of our new Gallery. It is opening at 2pm on Saturday August 28th 1999. The gallery is a purpose renovated 106 year old building situated at 34 Victoria St Loch in South Gippsland. It will be called Beenatree Gallery and will be opened by Susan Davies MLA and Member for Gippsland West at 3pm. The gallery will be open from 2pm to 5pm on this day and will then run an exhibition on Frid Sat and Sunday between 28/8 to 3/10/99. Exhibiting will be Stephen Hughes, Tony Clarke, Rob Morrison, Len Eldridge, Alan Gregg and Vic Woof.
    A jazz quartet will be at the opening and they will then continue at the Royal Hotel later that night. Any inquiries to Ray Sanders at Beenatree Crafts.

    Just returned from the big smoke. The opening went off well, was attended by over 100 people. Gallery looks great. The jazz band was loud. Sales were made. Dinner was done and copius amounts of grog was drunk (and so were some of the drinkers).

    All in all a very successful day. Lets hope it continues.

    Will put some photos on Beenatree's page in a few days.
