I think I've said it before but you are a dead ringer for Kevin Bacon, David. Just a tad older.
What an excellent resource your blog is. Well done.

I am amazed to discover that there have been almost 300 downloads of files from my blog in just three days. Many of these have been from the US, where I posted a thread on Sawmill Creek. But that forum does not allow links to be added in your signature, so I expect interest from there to tail off, unless I keep posting about it, which would probably be unpopular.
I hope in about a week's time to put up an article on the blog about a modern version of a Captain's chair that I have built. It is similar to a chair by Sherwood Hammill, illustrated in the current issue (#105) of Woodwork Magazine, and is easy to build with domino, or regular floating-tenon, joinery.

If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

[Edit] I have removed some comments that I made about happenings in other forums which were inappropriate to post here.
However, I am pleased to report that there have now been 768 downloads of the plans/articles on the blog in the past 12 days. That has saved me a heap of time in e-mailing plans to people individually.
