Thread: BUSHFIRE APPEAL - Results and Donation

I have today deposited $2,438.00 into the bank account of Blaze Aid this together with the $1,562.03 deposited from the Auction of the Sharpening Equipment brought the forums contribution to this ongoing and worthy cause, to a Grand Total of $4,000.03

Thank you to all who purchased caps and to those who donated cash. A special thank you to the amazing Mr Anonymous, who actually out laid $1,850 by way of winning the Auction ($1550) plus the $300 from the Easter Prize Draws. Thanks also to Jim & Irene from Carroll's Woodcraft Supplies for a cash donation of $500 and to the others who donated $100 and paid more for caps than was asked. U & Beaut's contribution $788 includes taking the total to a round figure of $4000 pity about that 3 cents just have to call it extra interest.

I spoke to Cheryl from Blaze Aid a while ago and she informs me that they have so far done approximately 300 kilometres of fences and only have around 2,000 to go. Still no assistance from the government or Red Cross so our few dollars was extremely welcomed.

She wishes me to pass on their sincere thanks for our help.
