    What?
I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.

I would go but it would include a trip to my lawyer afterwards to divide everything in half I brought at the show plus all my other worldly possessions

This will be my first wood show ever, I noticed that carbatec are exhibiting. Do they usually bring down machinery for purchase at the show and do they usually offer special show prices?
    cheers tom.

It'll be my first show. I've tried to make Sydney and Melbourne this year but couldn't. Canberra's the closest and should be a goer. Just have to finalise a shift swap to make it happen.

Regarding carbatec, their newsletter I got yesterday mentions "show only specials", 3 stands including product sales and demos, machinery stand and sales plus the sawstop stand. I know there's plenty of vids showing the emergency brake but I gotta see it trip in person. I'll even offer to be the guinea pig

I've held off from buying some things online for the past few months so I can spend up at a show. Bonus if there are discounts but I'm really looking forward to feel and maybe use some hand tools I've only seen in videos or online catalogues, or behind glass cabinets.

Hopefully if time permits we'll take a trip out to the bungendore woodwork/furniture gallery. Forgotten their name. Not sure if they attend the show at all but I gotta show a mate the Hannah cabinet.

I see that Timbecon is putting in a big effort for the Canberra show this year too. With a little bit of competition present, it might be a bit easier to negotiate a bargain. It also means a wider selection of products to choose from.

    Cheers

Doug (No connection with Timbecon, just happy to see them back at the shows)

    Hi,
One has to wonder if the return of Timbecn has anything to do with Carbatec coming, they have not bothered with us for the last two shows.

    Regards
