My car got stolen, have you seen it?
Hi all,
My car got stolen today (May 9th) from Inkerman Rd, Caulfield North, VIC. It's a black 1990 Honda CRX SiR; pretty rare car, I've seen 4 others in Melbourne in the last 10 years.
If anyone sees it, please call Caulfield Police Station on 9524 9500, the report number is 22965013
Thanks

They're a bit of a Japanese classic these days. If it wasn't stolen by joyriding kids that will have been nicked for parts.

That's not good news at all!! There are low lifes around
During the bush fires last year, 2 tradesmen left their vehicles at the fire shed to fight a fire when they returned those low lifes had taken tools from their vehicles
I am hoping that you will get the car back soon and intactJust do it!
Kind regards Rod

Some 25 years (or so) ago, I gave my eldest son our Statesman de Ville as it was no longer required.
Very nice car V8 with headers and great exhaust note. It was stolen from his home very late one night and taken for a joy ride. My son got a phone call from one of his employees saying he just saw it go flying past him on the Ballarat Road being hotly pursued by 2 police cars and saw it again a few miles down the road ablaze in a paddock.
The driver was a 14 year old boy and his 16 year old brother both were drunk at around 5:am neither were hurt, but the car was a total write-off. The lowlife little mongrels were known to police and basically got a smack on the back of the hand each.
My other sons car was given by me, on loan for a week, to the nephew of a man 2 doors away. That mongrel beat his uncle half to death a few days later and disappeared with the vehicle. Police said it wasn't stolen as I gave the keys to him. That one turned up on SA smashed and had been involved in 2 accidents and used in 3 robberies during an almost 4 week rampage the mongrel and his girl friend went on throughout Central Victoria and eastern South Australia.
Hope yours turns up in better condition than both of those ones did, if it ever does turn up. Probably in a heap of parts now as it's so rare.
Cheers - Neil

I could say what I think should happen to the grubs but Neil would have to ban me.

I'm really sorry to hear this Elan. When I first started driving, a CRX was my dream car. Unfortunately I couldn't afford one, so bought a '81 Civic instead, and loved it regardless. As for moving forward I hope that you will be able to find something else special with the insurance money.
Neil and Ross, calm down now. Having grown up in a country where it was acceptable to shoot someone dead for attempting to steal your car, I would much sooner live here where we insure, replace and move on with life, and let the police deal with it.

A bit of publicity on Facebook would be worth while. There would be groups in the area it was stolen you could put up photos, with a bit of luck someone might recognise a strange car in their area. If you don't use Facebook, I'm sure someone you know could put an advert up for you. Won't cost anything, never know your luck.

You don't want it back. It's probably been fanged to death and the girlfriend has been given driving lessons. If it is found in one piece the fuel tank will most likely be sugared as a thank you gesture. I hope it was insured.

I most certainly do want it back. Fanged to death is what it's built for (trust me, I know ). I can fix it, I can't replace it.
It was insured, but I doubt they'll pay what it's worth
