Personally I have always found, upon later reflection after the heat of battle, that the moderation has been applied fairly and appropriately.
So stop complaining and move on.

ive had my say, its out of my system, had the odd interesting pm and reputation posts. thanks to all who contriubuted, it has actually been an interesting exercise from where im sitting, learned a lot about a lot of people.
Anyway, all said and done the moderators did what they think was right and thats what we pay them the big bucks for (hehehehehhehe).
But anyway , when you were doing the cleanup you missed the the little red square that Bat left in my in tray, but thats ok, it didnt have enough points attached to make any discernable impact, so i will keep it as a souveneir, at least until it flushes itself out of the bottom of my reputation screen.
one last observation, stuff like this only seems to be happening when the forum as a whole is pretty quiet. when there is plenty of posts on woodworking everyone seems to be happyto contribute to new woodworking threads. its just when its quiet that people get bored and start making mischief instead of posting positive and useful contributions.
So lets start asking and answering questions on woodwork again and contributing hints and tips. post some photos of projects. lets get back to how the forum was about 6 months ago.

But let's say it is so. How the hell can I tell what my own greeny power is? Or anybody elses? Like... I know I've amassed some 10,000 total, but how do I determine who gave me what, short of checking the total difference before'n'after getting a greeny/reddy?
Or am I barking up the wrong tree altogether?

Just go up the top and click on User CP and all will be revealed.

Nup. It lists the last 25 who gave me rep and my total number of points, but not how many points were associated with the green/reds...

Skew, there is no display of the "Reputation Altering Power" that you or another person has that we have can see. I think that the admin's (ie. Neil and ) are the only ones to have access to this info. The only thing that I do is sometimes keep track of my rep and see how much it increases when someone gives me rep.
Have a nice day - Cheers

Well all this talk of rep points tells me I'd better get of my ##### and contribute a bit. It looks like I've been overtaken by "He who falls off horses" and "The Dancing Geriatric" and I can hear a funny accent and an ugly dog coming up behind me.
Have not been doing much lately, the wrists have just about reached the stage where the enjoyment is not worth the pain, looks like a bit of cutting and stitching will soon be on the cards.

What's a reddie, apart from the obvious folding stuff?
The nice thing about being senile is you can hide your own Easter eggs.

Very rarely handed out by he who falls off horses (and doesn't bounce very well either).
Stupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

How do you see someone else's rep count?
I can find my own (on my User's CP page), but I can't find anyone else's...
When I hover over the green dots, I just see something like: Top Effort and Well Done or Jewel in the Rough or Reputation is Beyond Repute or Get That Damned Cursor Off my Green Dots...
Also, as an interesting aside, on my own posts (and I suppose it is the same for everyone) I have the scales icon in the bottom left corner - implying I can give myself rep. points, I assume that it doesn't work though. However, the forum code has gone to the trouble of removing the "Report a Bad Post" icon... Weird.
