I’ll have to have a look in the shed to see if I have a piece of timber. If I do, I’ll have a go at making something with it

I'm in. Or should I say I'm out? Out in the shed thinking of what to make....

Are multiple entries allowed, or can one enter a thing into each category?

This looks really interesting. I might actually give it a go.
A question: Is the maximum size the box size (250mm each dimension), or does it need to fit within that size when closed/folded? For instance, a cabinet/box with lid or doors - is its maximum size with them open or closed? Or a musical box with a comet on a stick that comes out of the box and back in again to the music: is it measured at full retraction or full extension?

This is a good question which the judges have already anticipated. If you can get your work inside either the 250mm box or the 500mm box, depending on which category you have selected, it qualifies. An example would be a music box with a twirling ballerina, who pops up, making it too tall. However in the closed position it fits so that is acceptable.
I hope that answers your question.

Count me in.
My wife tells me I'm good at small things (I'm not sure she means it as a compliment though).

We seem to be getting a fair amount of interest, and that’s fantastic too see.
If we (Three honourably Judges) seem quite, rest assured we are busy behind the scenes getting things organised, plus our Swiss bank accounts in order.
We will be posting some more stuff soon we hope.
But mean while, get planning, sketching, dreaming.
Cheers Matt.
