Default Digital Vernier Calipers 150mm $39

    Gday all

    Just a heads up.

Bunnings here in vic have the above for $39 on the shelf now.

The brand escapes me, didn't mean much anyway, but I've bought one and the quality seems on the money. Compared it to the Kinchrome at 2-3 times the price and no difference is apparent.

Measures in imp or metric. Standard internal, external, depth, & step measurement. Zeroing button (for resetting & differential measurement). Spare battery. Hard case.

I have wanted some of these for ages but were too pricey.

Sed to the bride she could get them for me for Chrissy, but she has that already sorted so got the go ahead to get 'em straight away.

I already have a 200mm standard Kinchrome set but peering at the markings do my eyes in. They'll be gathering dust (until I drop these buggers!)

Hope this helps someone...........cheers................Sean, 1700.65mm tall

200mm verniers from Carba-tec for $59 with a spare battery.

Yes! That's about what I paid, not from Carba-Tec, but seemed to be much the same item. Sent them to the dump about a month after the warranty expired.
Now I have Kincrome, cost $95, lifetime warranty.
    Another lesson about cheap tools.

    Kind regards
