Door Prize!! @ Rocker's Open Workshop Event
To All,
As previously stated by ROCKER I'll be putting up a marking gauge (not a mortising gauge) as a door prize for his OWE (Open Workshop Event). So you all don't think it's a good chance for me to get rid of a project that's gone bad here is an inductive picture of the gauges I make.
I haven't chosen the species of timber of the gauge yet but it will be either Aust Rosewood, Silky Oak, Black Wattle or something quite rare (I haven't looked in the box that contains about 40 gauges yet )
So be quick!!!! contact ROCKER to reserve your place and you could walk away with $90.00 worth of marking gauge or an EXCELLENT mortising jig made by ROCKER himelf

Hmm.
Now being so far away I cannot attend this little soiree BUT there is Australia Post which I believe can find me.
Now on the theme of bribes, don't play with the peons but come right to the 2nd top position.
Rep points to bring you up to the Admins and mods? Perhaps Moderator? Maybe your own forum?
BUM! Pity I can't be bought.

Those tools look fab Major. Do you have any patterns or books that help you or do you just make the designs up yourself?

I'm just quietly watching all this.
I don't think I'll take any chances, 'cos if luck is involved I don't have a hope. On the day, I'll be the one with the baggy trousers, and the masking tape to stick the loot to my legs on the way out.

Shhhh.....
