Thread: Down Under Turn Around.

Hi to all you Turners,
Well it is that time again, for DUTA. Held at the Christan Youth Camp, Church Street, Cowes, Vic. This is an excellent spot to run such a Show.

Fri.Sept 11th. strictly not before 1.30pm. Sat.12th.- Sun.13th. finish about 12noon.
Hopefully many will stay behind to help with the cleanup

Now more than likely this is full, but you can always ring
Caroline or Bruce on 0359 567300, to put your name on the short list.There is always someone who has booked in & can't make for some reason.

There will be approx. 130 people & 60+ Lathes, wood to buy, Jim & Irene, I think will be there with their stuff, & our very worthy Moderator & Pauline may also be there with there " U Beaut Goodies ", & some Very Experienced International Turners there.
Very good companionship, & the Ladies usually find something to do, as the Shops are not far,& I believe that there are some excellent Coffee Shops.

So you get 2 Sleeps - 6 Meals - Tea, Coffee & Bikkies are on all the time in the Gym.
Silent Auction - BIG RAFFLE with Monies going to a local Charity, not to mention any Help you need about Turning by just asking most anybody.
I've forgotten the cost, but I think it is about $150 ea.
Now you can't get a Motel anywhere for that.
Maybe if you are on the Forums, you may like to wear your Username Tag, as I will.
