Smile New DVD's from Scott Horsburgh

    To all my fellow Woodworkers.
I have released six new dvd's to go with my current three on hand tool preparation and use.
I wanted to make a piece that would enable me to demonstrate some interesting aspects of fine cabinet making so I made a beautiful jarrah four door, four drawer sideboard. I started filming at the outset so that each dvd captures the entire story of its specific area from start to finish.
I placed a full page ad in the last edition of the Australian Wood Review and also had an independant review done on three of my dvd's by Brisbane based furniture maker Carol Russell. With Carols permission I have placed that review on the homepage of my website.
If you visit my website and go to the DVD Purchase catalogue you can see the contents of each dvd, its duration, cost and a 3 to 5 minute short clip to give you an idea of its contents.
I spent a lot of time making these movies and I feel that the prices are very competitive. There are also discounts for buying in sets. All of this is detailed on the Specials section of the DVD Purchase catalogue.
I will try to upload some photos of the sideboard so you can see the piece.

The six new dvd's cover the following aspects of fine furniture making:

Making & Fitting Unique Cabinet Hardware.
    Making & Fitting Veneered Doors
Preparing a Carcass for Piston Fit Drawers and Making & Fitting Piston Fit Drawers.
How to Cut Single Lap & Through Dovetails Quickly and Accurately.
A Detailed Look at Sideboard Carcass Construction.
How to Prepare perfect long grain edge joinery and How to attach a solid top to allow for movement.

    My website address is www.ScottHorsburgh.com

I also have approximately 40 articles on my website that I have written about the various stages of making specific pieces of furniture. These articles are free to Members and it's free to become a Member - just use your email/name and your own password. I am constantly writing new articles and uploading these with new photos. My members are notified when I upload new information.

Read the great testimonials I have received on my dvd's and then check them out for yourselves. The are packed with great information.

    Happy woodworking,
    Scott

These are a great set of dvds and very enjoyable to watch.

In trying to learn a little about everything,
    you become masters of nothing.
